It’s a freezing June night in Sydney but the city is packed with masses of people all headed out to see the city lights. Yes, it’s the annual Vivid light festival! Couples, families, travellers you name it, they all come out to play. And then of course, there are the keen photographers – camera in one hand, tripod in the other, like workers with their morning coffee which they never go without. I have a thing or two to learn about taking photos, but I gave it a shot anyhow.
The other day when I went to the supermarket, I realized that wow, so many apple varieties, it must be apple season. From there, I researched places and discovered some orchards where you can go and pick your own! The place we visited was Bilpin Springs Orchard. It was only just over an hr’s drive from Sydney but it was day of fun!
You’ve probably heard people talk about The Grounds of Alexandria, you probably recognize their signature coffee cups, you probably also heard about that disappearance of The Grounds’ resident pig, Kevin Bacon. There’s been so much buzz about the place ever since it opened in 2012 and I couldn’t wait to visit.
